Possible thunderstorms and heavy falls about the north(?)
Weather Stuff:
The north easterlies have really kicked in today. The Bureau is having some trouble working out what is going to happen. Last night they forecasted thunderstorms for the NW Coast and again first thing this morning. Then they updated the forecast around 8:30am without thunderstorms and then again just after 9am including a severe weather warning for flooding down the East Coast. This warning was then cancelled by 11:30am. The latest forecast now has thunderstorms back on the cards. It would appear that the BOM are a little perplexed with this current situation. There is another deep low speeding in from the west which will have its westerly march halted by the current blocking pattern over Tassie. This will be an interesting situation; I wonder where the deep low will end up?
Fishing Stuff:
I’m thinking of challenging the north easterlies tomorrow and heading out for a fish. I’m still trying to catch a sea runner so hopefully tomorrow may produce some results? Simon is currently fishing Arthurs. I notice the strong north easterlies are hammering into the plateau, so I’ll be interested to hear what he has to report from this trip.
