Active thunderstorms
Weather Stuff:
Monday afternoon the low finally started to ramp up and some severe storms formed over southern Victoria and the started to extend south across the Strait around 4pm. There was a possible severe thunderstorm that moved thru Wynyard around 5pm and the BOM issued a warning. An extensive thunderstorm cell moved over Ulverstone around 10pm Monday night and lasted for around an hour.
Tuesday seen the storm activity move South. Hobart had high humidity and mild temps. Around lunchtime the sun made it’s presence felt for about a couple of hours then by 3pm the storms moved in. It went from bright sunshine to near darkness with-in a few minutes. The storms lasted around the Richmond area for many hours.
Today sees another fast moving front crossing the State. The BOM have forecasted thunderstorms this arvo, mainly for the West of the State. The front is developing, so I guess it could interesting?
Fishing Stuff:
Due to the strong NE winds and heavy rain causing the river to flood, I decided to not head out for a fish. Simon managed to land 3 trout at Arthurs during his trip, which is good going considering the conditions.
